The power of nature is staggering in Nahanni National Park Reserve. Sinkholes and caves lead in unknown directions. The South Nahanni River cuts through canyons of limestone and here, the waters of Virginia Falls thunder down from twice the height of Niagara Falls. This remote wilderness was the first land anywhere to be protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
